About The Position

L&M Radiator, Inc. is a global designer, manufacturer, and distributor of MESABI cooling and heat transfer solutions for heavy equipment in various industries. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their Warehouse team, supporting multiple departments within the company and external vendors. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory control and ensuring the smooth flow of materials.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
1-year experience in a related field.
Current Driver’s License.
Proficient with MS Excel and Word applications.
Shipping & Receiving experience.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Basic knowledge of steel materials and bolts.
Material handling and packaging.
Organizational skills.
Use of hand tools.
Exposure to blueprint reading.
Operate forklifts to load and unload trucks and semi loads.
Use various measuring devices.
Work and communicate effectively with others.
Understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions.
Self-motivated, work with little supervision.
Knowledge and proficiency of math skills.
Good computer skills and knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to communicate, in English, effectively and clearly by both written and verbal means.
Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug and background test.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system.
Experience in Lean Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Expediting orders to the shop.
Maintaining inventory control and documentation.
Receiving, inspecting, and directing incoming materials.
Unloading vendor supplies and materials and placing them in proper storage areas.
Recording receivables and documents.
Coordinating with the shipping clerk to expedite shipments.
Assisting in other areas of production as needed, if qualified.
Performing work in a safe manner and following all safety guidelines and procedures.
Performing related work and other duties as required by supervisor.
