About The Position

This role is for Warehouse Personnel at the Glasgow Distribution Center. The position involves maintaining records for receiving ingredients and supplies, as well as shipping finished goods. Responsibilities include verifying trailer conditions, operating dock doors and levelers, managing bills of lading, preparing loads for various departments, operating a forklift, conducting monthly inventories, transferring materials, and maintaining a clean work area. The role also requires adherence to plant regulations regarding Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), safety, and loss control. A key responsibility is identifying and reporting food safety hazards to supervisors or management. Employees are also required to attend all mandatory safety and food safety training and will be trained to drive a company truck. Any other duties assigned by a supervisor are also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Maintain and operate a forklift.
  • Perform accurate monthly inventories.
  • Comply with plant regulations concerning GMP’s, safety rules and work rules and loss control procedures.
  • Identify and address any food safety hazards.
  • Attend all required safety and food safety training.
  • Train to drive the company truck.

Responsibilities

  • Verify trailer is clean and fit to load and unload.
  • Operate dock doors and leveler.
  • Verify bill of ladings and pick-up numbers.
  • Make up loads for all departments per customer orders.
  • Maintain and operate a forklift.
  • Perform accurate monthly inventories.
  • Transfer ingredients and supplies as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Comply with plant regulations concerning GMP’s, safety rules and work rules and loss control procedures.
  • Identify and address any food safety hazards, notifying supervisor, Quality, or Leadership Team if identified.
  • Attend all required safety and food safety training.
  • Train to drive the company truck.
  • Perform any and all duties as assigned by supervisor.
