About The Position

This position coordinates with the warehouse supervisor the activities of team members concerned with receiving, storing, inventory, and issuing products. The role involves storing, rotating, issuing, and delivering all operational inventoried goods. Time permitting, the role includes cleaning, receiving, and participating in inventories. The position assists in the supervision of warehouse activities and is responsible for overall safety, monthly inventories, unloading trucks, receiving goods, and recycling glass, cardboard, and paper. The role also involves filling requisitions in a timely and accurate manner, delivering all requisitioned mail, and maintaining the organization and tidiness of the warehouse. Responsibilities include ensuring the safety and cleanliness of all warehouse areas according to internal and health department standards, checking deliveries for accuracy and product integrity, stocking product on shelves, product rotation, and delivering non-inventory items to the proper department or storage on property.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Computer knowledge and accurate data entry skills preferred.
Prior experience in warehouse or receiving preferred.
