About The Position

This role is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members. Key duties include receiving and processing products from vendors, managing internal distribution, preparing shipments, and maintaining accurate records. The position also involves ensuring a safe working environment and adhering to company policies.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three months related experience and/or training.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to read and communicate verbally in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to perform operations using units of American money, weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Must be able to count money, gaming chips and make change efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to operate an adding machine.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Receive products from vendors and count items to ensure order accuracy against packing slips or purchase orders, recording receipt of goods in the Stratton Warren system.
  • Arrange internal distribution of products received and/or warehoused, including delivery to departments.
  • Process shipments to outside vendors and arrange for pick up at the receiving dock.
  • Submit daily documentation of goods received to Accounting.
  • Compile information and complete reports as needed.
  • Examine contents and compare with records (e.g., manifests, invoices, orders) to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
  • Determine shipping methods, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Record shipment data (e.g., weight, charges, space availability, damages, discrepancies) for reporting, accounting, and record-keeping.
  • Contact carrier representatives to make arrangements and issue instructions for shipping and delivery.
  • Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to resolve issues such as damages, shortages, and non-conformance to specifications.
  • Requisition and store shipping supplies to maintain inventory.
  • Deliver or route materials to departments using work devices, hand trucks, pallet jacks, or carts.
  • Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools, and postage meters.
  • Ensure the safety of team members by keeping areas clean, free of hazards, debris, and litter, and performing all job duties safely.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Perform other job-related and compatible duties as assigned.
