This labor-intensive, seasonal position is responsible for hand-building pallets of product for bulk and route trucks. It requires strict attention to order accuracy when loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks. The role involves using an electronic order system or order sheets to build loads with a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack, ensuring accuracy in loading and compliance with shipper/receiver documentation. Employees must follow warehouse instructions for building loads and maintain a clean and safe work environment. The position may require working in various weather conditions and hours, with shift duration dependent on workload and varying daily. Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing returned pallets/plastic flats. The role is also responsible for unloading raw materials and placing them in designated warehouse space. Bulk truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors of products from the warehouse and loading them onto a pallet, ensuring stability through proper stacking and shrink-wrapping. Pallets are typically loaded onto a trailer for local delivery. The position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats. Route truck loading involves selecting designated packages and flavors or pallets of products from the warehouse and loading them into the truck. Product/packages for each truck are customized based on the salesperson's order. The position is responsible for unloading returned products and pallets/plastic flats.
