About The Position
Toromont Cat is looking for a Parts Warehouse Person to join our team! The Parts Warehouse Person plays a key role in coordinating and executing day to day operations in the warehouse to ensure the entire team is providing superior service to the internal and external customers.
Requirements
- High School Diploma Minimum
- 1 year experience in a warehouse environment
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate safe, environmentally sound and healthy work behaviors at all times in support of Toromont’s Health and Safety Policy, Programs and initiatives
- Packaging and shipping cores to Caterpillar regularly, which may involve following both documentation procedures and regulations related to dangerous goods
- Processing shop and customer orders, stock order receipt and processing, picking and delivery of parts to internal and external customers, processing incoming and outgoing freight and stock transfers
- Ensure customers’ needs are met in an efficient, knowledgeable and professional manner
- Help maintain the parts physical and electronic inventory
- Safely operate various types of lift trucks
