Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Basic math skills are crucial for accurately counting products and maintaining inventory integrity.
  • Proficiency in reading product labels and load sheets.
  • Effective communication skills are key.
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment such as the baler, crusher, and electric pallet jack.
  • A proactive attitude towards seeking improvements in warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • Build pallets accurately according to pick tickets while meeting department goals for throw rate.
  • Operate both electric and manual pallet jacks to efficiently move products and pallets throughout the warehouse.
  • Assist in various tasks like staging, loading, unloading, and organizing products.
  • Maintain cleanliness, handle spills promptly, and restock any damaged products.
  • Contribute to preparing for month-end inventory by recording damage and shrinkage according to company policy.
  • Suggest improvements while performing other assigned duties.
