Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Basic math skills are crucial for accurately counting products and maintaining inventory integrity.
- Proficiency in reading product labels and load sheets.
- Effective communication skills are key.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate equipment such as the baler, crusher, and electric pallet jack.
- A proactive attitude towards seeking improvements in warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Build pallets accurately according to pick tickets while meeting department goals for throw rate.
- Operate both electric and manual pallet jacks to efficiently move products and pallets throughout the warehouse.
- Assist in various tasks like staging, loading, unloading, and organizing products.
- Maintain cleanliness, handle spills promptly, and restock any damaged products.
- Contribute to preparing for month-end inventory by recording damage and shrinkage according to company policy.
- Suggest improvements while performing other assigned duties.
