1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler
About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler for their distribution center in Shepherdsville, KY. This role is crucial to the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to customers. While the job involves being on your feet for the entire shift and lifting up to 100 pounds, no prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The pay starts at $20.13/hr, with opportunities for two pay raises in the first year and increased earnings based on production and efficiency. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Shifts are from 7:30 AM until finish, and may vary based on workload.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
- Ability to be on your feet for the duration of the shift.
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Successfully pass a drug test.
- Successfully pass a background check.

- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
