About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Package Handler Lead to join our team. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient and accurate processing of packages within our warehouse. The Lead will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, guiding a team of handlers, and maintaining high standards of productivity and safety. This position offers a competitive hourly wage and a consistent Tuesday to Saturday schedule.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and potential shift adjustments.

Nice To Haves

Experience with package sorting equipment.
Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

Lead and direct a team of warehouse package handlers.
Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring smooth package processing.
Train and mentor new and existing team members.
Monitor productivity and quality of work, implementing improvements as needed.
Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
Communicate effectively with management regarding team performance and operational issues.
Assist with package handling duties as required.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
