About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Package Handler Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of package handlers, ensuring efficient and safe operations within the warehouse. You will oversee daily tasks, provide guidance and training to your team, and contribute to the overall success of our logistics operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and productivity.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Experience with package handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts).
Knowledge of inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise a team of warehouse package handlers.
Ensure all packages are handled, sorted, and loaded/unloaded accurately and efficiently.
Provide training and guidance to team members on proper handling techniques and safety procedures.
Monitor team performance and provide feedback.
Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Collaborate with warehouse management to optimize workflow and productivity.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during shifts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
