Sysco - Warehouse Order Selector
About The Position
Sysco is seeking to immediately hire Warehouse Order Selectors for an overnight/night shift position. This role is a critical part of the foodservice supply chain, where you will pick orders for delivery to local foodservice venues. It is an active, physical role that involves operating an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, organizing and palletizing product to build customer orders, and other duties as assigned. The work environment includes areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and product type (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- 1 Year relevant work experience.
- Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
- Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
- Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
Nice To Haves
- 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
- 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
- 1 year Selection Experience.
- 2 years consistent work history preferred.
- Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
- Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.
Responsibilities
