About The Position

This role is responsible for fulfilling daily pick tickets and adhering to shipping requirements for customer orders. The primary work environment involves a cold setting for a significant portion of the shift. Key duties include gathering and organizing ordered items onto pallets, properly labeling items to prevent missed shipments, and preparing and securing orders for shipping. The position requires the ability to manage multiple customer orders simultaneously and separately. Serious candidates with a strong work ethic and good attendance are sought.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of previous experience of order fulfilment (picking) within a warehouse/distribution center environment.
• Previous experience using a pallet jack, electric hand-truck, or forklift to move product from the main warehouse to the loading area is preferred.
• Ability to physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
• Ability to physically push, pull, lift, and rotate. PDL (Physical Demand Limit) generally is 70 lbs. Occasional PDL up to 120 lbs., would require a two-person lift.
• Ability to read, write and understand English to ensure the proper product matching for the customer orders.
• Basic math skills to ensure a proper count for accurate customer orders prior to shipping.
• Excellent attention to detail and common sense in daily activities.
• Ability to work in a supportive team environment.
• Ability to work with a minimal amount of supervision and adhere to all company policies.
• Adherence to the Company’s attendance policy.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
