Warehouse Order Selector
About The Position
The Warehouse Order Selector will be responsible for fulfilling daily pick tickets and ensuring customer orders are prepared according to shipping requirements. This role involves working primarily in a cold environment, gathering and organizing ordered items onto pallets, properly labeling items, and preparing and securing orders for shipping. A significant portion of the working shift will be spent in a cooler or deep freezer environment. The position requires a strong work ethic, good attendance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of previous experience of order fulfilment (picking) within a warehouse/distribution center environment.
- Previous experience using a pallet jack, electric hand-truck, or forklift is preferred.
- Ability to physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
- Ability to physically push, pull, lift, and rotate. Physical Demand Limit (PDL) generally is 70 lbs. Occasional PDL up to 120 lbs. requires a two-person lift.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English to ensure proper product matching for customer orders.
- Basic math skills to ensure accurate count for customer orders prior to shipping.
- Excellent attention to detail and common sense in daily activities.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings: background check & drug screening.

Responsibilities
- Fulfill daily pick tickets and follow shipping requirements for customer orders.
- Prepare multiple customer orders simultaneously and separately.
- Gather and organize ordered items onto pallets.
- Label/Mark ordered items properly to avoid missed shipments.
- Prepare and secure orders for shipping and bring them to the loading area.
- Physically work in a cooler or deep freezer environment for a large portion of the working shift.
- Work in a supportive team environment.
- Work with a minimal amount of supervision and adhere to all company policies.
- Adhere to the Company’s attendance policy.
- Pass pre-employment screenings, including background check and drug screening.
