About The Position

The objective of this role is to build stable, driver-friendly pallets that are easy to count, with barcodes facing out and no items buried within. This ensures a smooth check-in process for drivers in the market. The position is responsible for pulling product to guarantee that all trucks are loaded in a timely manner, allowing drivers to start their day without delays. The shift operates on overnight hours from 8:30 PM to 5:30 AM.

Requirements

Must be pallet jack certified.
Must be forklift certified.
Must always wear seatbelt on forklift.
Must always take care of company equipment.
Must be clean shaven and have proper hygiene.
Must be in proper uniform, including steel toed shoes.
Must be able to lift cases that weigh up to 25-30lbs.
Must be able to lift kegs that weigh 160lbs.
Must be able to work at a steady pace with lots of heavy lifting.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.

Nice To Haves

Electric riding pallet jack experience preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Build stable, driver-friendly pallets with barcodes facing out and no items buried.
Pull product to ensure timely truck loading.
Perform thorough pre-trip inspections on pallet jack/forklift.
Face barcodes out for easy scanning in the market.
Tie in cases to ensure pallet stability during transport.
Call beer down when picking the last case on a pallet and remove the empty pallet.
Straight stack items when pallet layers are no longer even.
Wrap pallets as needed to prevent product from dumping.
Perform accurate case counts.
Place damaged cases on the damage cart or pallet.
Clean up after yourself and maintain warehouse cleanliness at the end of each shift.
Replenish pick lines when time allows at the end of the night.
Report all issues to the shift supervisor immediately.
