About The Position

Sysco Pittsburgh, LLC is immediately hiring Warehouse Order Selectors. This is an active, physical role where you will be a critical member of the foodservice supply chain, picking orders for delivery to foodservice venues in the local community. You will operate an electric pallet jack and/or forklift, and organize and palletize product to build customer orders. The work environment includes areas with temperature and humidity variations based on local weather conditions and product type (non-refrigerated, refrigerated, and frozen).

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 0 – 1 Year relevant work experience.
• Frequently lift product that weighs 10lb - 75lbs and up to 100lbs.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches.
• Constantly bend and twist while operating an electric pallet jack or forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
• Work in very extreme temperatures (cooler and/or freezer).
• Work on your feet for 10 – 12 hours daily.
• Currently authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift.
• 1 year of warehouse, military, or physically active job experience.
• 1 year Selection Experience.
• 2 years consistent work history preferred.
