About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Order Selector for their Distribution Center in Lithia Springs, GA. This role is crucial to the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to customers. The position involves being on your feet for 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer environment. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The pay starts at $21.29/hour, including a $1.00 2nd shift premium, with opportunities to earn more based on production and efficiency. Selectors can average 122% of their base salary. The work schedule is Sunday through Thursday, with Fridays and Saturdays off. Second shift typically runs from 6 PM to finish, with shifts often exceeding 10-12 hours depending on workload.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
- Successfully pass a drug test.
- Successfully pass a background check.
