About The Position
As a Warehouse Order Selector, you will work individually selecting full frozen cases of product from our warehouse by hand. You will use an electric pallet jack to palletize orders or place cases in rolling racks, preparing them for shipping. Order picking sheets are used for selecting orders. You will then fit the items on a pallet or rolling rack, plastic wrap the bundles, transport pallets/racks to the shipping dock, and in some cases, load them onto a trailer for delivery to customers.
Requirements
- Work regularly in cold temperatures (-20 degrees F)
- Must have ability to lift 50+ Lbs
- Basic math skills needed to accurately handle job functions
- Performs other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective work environment
- Able to do overtime
- Successful passing of pre-employment substance abuse test; successful completion of post-offer employment medical examination
Nice To Haves
- Basic knowledge of shipping and warehouse procedures and regulations preferred
