About The Position

River Valley is a growing specialty foods and consumable products distributor in Syracuse, NY, seeking a full-time Warehouse Selector for their second shift team. The company distributes a wide range of specialty dry and frozen grocery items and consumable products from warehouses in Syracuse, NY. This role requires a safe, efficient, and accurate individual.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to read and understand English in order to perform job requirements and understand supervisor instructions
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience preferred, but not required
• Reliability and strong work ethic

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently select products for customer orders
• Operate a double-length pallet jack safely in a busy warehouse environment
• Build stable pallets that are able to be transported with no damage
• Work in both refrigerated and dry areas of the warehouse as needed
• Be a positive and productive member of the team
