About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting in receiving and inspecting incoming items, ensuring proper placement of products, pulling inventory, inspecting and packing products for delivery, verifying inventories, maintaining organization of products, and performing other miscellaneous stocking duties. The role also involves checking orders for accurate documentation, completing basic paperwork related to shipping and receiving, preparing documentation regarding weight and freight cost, and properly labeling hazardous material packages. Additionally, the Order Puller will perform janitorial duties to maintain a clean warehouse and work area, operate a motorized cart/forklift, and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to understand numerical and alphabetical sequences.
• Ability to complete forms and order parts.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders.
• Must be able to spend significant periods of time each day in physical labor.
• Must be certified as a forklift operator within 60 calendar days of start date.
• Good skills in the use of tools required to perform assigned job responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum six months-related warehouse experience.
• Experience in operating a stock picker and/or forklift.
• Distribution industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving and inspecting incoming items/products.

• Perform janitorial duties as assigned to keep warehouse and work area clean.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
