About The Position

The Warehouse Order Picker’s primary purpose is to pick and build product orders for delivery to customer accounts. The position operates in a warehouse setting and generally uses an electric pallet jack. Work may involve exposure to hot indoor temperatures during summer months and long or irregular hours during peak seasons. The schedule is 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. The role includes moving trucks as needed and fulfilling orders for customer pickup. Requirements

• Sufficient formal or informal education to read and write at a level required for successful job performance.
• Ability to obtain a valid pallet jack certification (for individuals 18 years or older).
• Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification as needed (for individuals 18 years or older).
• Ability to provide attention to detail.
• Proper lifting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage and build pick ticket orders.
• Shrink-wrap products to pallets.
• Ensure orders are accurate.
• Stage completed pallets in designated areas.
• Build vertical pallets as needed.
• Consolidate and restock product and shells.
• Move trucks as needed.
• Fulfill orders for customer pickup.
• Clean and organize the warehouse.
• Meet established productivity requirements.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
