About The Position

Ajax Distributing Co., INC is a family-owned and operated distribution company for beer and non-alcoholic beverages in Clarksville, Paris, Memphis and surrounding areas. This is a full-time, entry-level position located in Clarksville, TN. The role involves frequent lifting and stacking of beverage products, requiring manual dexterity, coordination, mobility, and attention to detail while picking orders. Responsibilities include safely operating warehouse equipment such as carts, forklifts, electric ride-on jacks, and electric hand jacks. The position also involves wrapping pallets and/or carts, and loading beverage route trucks. Other duties may be assigned as required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-minded, have good attendance, be punctual, a team player, and a fast learner. The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse, requiring frequent standing, walking, and moving.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to work long hours when necessary
Must have reliable transportation
Must be able to pass drug screen and background check
Able to lift products from 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 170 lbs. (assisted) when handling keg products
Able to push or pull carts loaded with up to 800 lbs of product
