Warehouse Order Picker Part Time 2nd Shift

Staples Inc.•Orlando, FL
•Onsite

About The Position

Join Staples’ World Class Supply Chain Team to help deliver essential products to customers. Warehouse associates may be assigned to one of four areas: Order Picker, Restocker, Bulk Selector, or Custodian, and may be moved between these roles as needed. The work takes place in a climate-controlled warehouse, though associates should be able to work in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations. Safety is a top priority, and associates are expected to follow safe work practices and support Staples’ safety culture. Order Pickers pick and prepare customer orders accurately and on time to meet daily production goals, sometimes picking above ground level. Restockers scan labels, cut boxes, and restock shelves to prepare work areas for the next shift. Bulk Selectors select products, pull and pack totes, cut merchandise cases and/or stock products, and move full totes and cases onto a conveyor belt. Custodians perform general cleaning and basic maintenance inside and outside the facility, including cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, vacuuming, spot-cleaning carpets, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning furniture and windows, and collecting and removing warehouse trash. The listed schedule is 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. The role offers pay for performance, allowing associates to earn additional compensation when they meet specified productivity thresholds.
