About The Position
Wurth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker and Packer for their Distribution Center in Vernon Hills, IL. This role involves picking and packing orders, receiving and verifying inbound orders, loading and unloading trailers, operating a cherry picker (order picker vehicle) with a harness, and rolling and packing laminate sheets. The company is a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry with significant annual revenue and global backing.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ year of warehouse experience in a receiving position with similar duties
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Sit-down forklift experience
- Must be able to operate sit-down forklift and cherry picker (also called order picker with a harness)
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack orders (primary function of this role is on-foot picking)
- Receive and verify inbound orders
- Load and unload trailers
- Operate cherry picker with harness to pick or put away materials in the racks (also known as order picker vehicle)
- Roll and pack 3x3 laminate sheets
