Warehouse Operator - Cooper Lighting Solutions
About The Position
This is an exciting job opportunity for you as a Warehouse Operator in Irving, Texas, with Cooper Lighting Solutions, a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. The role involves receiving product into the site by unloading trailers/trucks using a forklift and staging it on the warehouse floor or directly putting it on the rack. You will also be responsible for checking quantities and quality of incoming material, putting away product on the racks, picking product per sales orders, palletizing, wrapping and loading outgoing orders onto trucks, and performing cycle counts to ensure location accuracy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2+ years’ experience as a warehouse operator (receiving, put away, storage, pick, pack, and load)
- Must be trained and/or certified as a Forklift operator (stand-up and sit down)
- Must be able to read, understand and follow processes, procedures and warehouse floor operation practices
- Experienced with safety practices in a warehouse environment; Basic experience with Quality, 5S and Lean practices
- Team player with reliable, consistent and high level of commitment to the business
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs
