About The Position
Trident Consulting is seeking a "Warehouse Operator" for one of our clients in "Anchorage, AK". This role is with a global leader in business and technology services. The position is a contract role with a duration of 12+ months.
Requirements

- Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, pack, label, and process domestic and international shipments in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Receive incoming materials, inspect deliveries for accuracy and condition, and ensure proper documentation is completed.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Safely move materials throughout the warehouse while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
- Support hazardous material and air freight shipping activities in compliance with International Air Transportation (IATA) and DOT certifications.
- Verify shipping documentation, bills of lading, packing lists, and inventory records for accuracy.
- Maintain organized warehouse storage locations and ensure materials are properly identified and stored.
- Utilize SAP and other systems to process transactions, manage inventory, and track shipments.
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, carriers, and logistics partners to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment following company and regulatory standards.
