About The Position

This is an operational job where the employee will assist and operate a range of manual routine tasks related to the warehouse environment, shipping, transfers, and order handling. The role involves placing products correctly during truck loading and unloading, maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organization according to Good Warehouse Practice (GWP), and ensuring material handling equipment is kept in good condition for safety and quality. The operator will manage internal stock movements using a PIT (Powered Industrial Truck), display and move orders for various warehouse activities including put away, retrieval, picking, replenishment, and staging. Confirming movements using scanners or RF-terminals in near real-time, ensuring compliance with inventory count instructions, and strictly adhering to the FEFO (First Expiry – First Out) policy are key aspects of the role. The operator must ensure material tags are present on pallets per receiving for each consignment, report any damaged products or potential operational issues, and strictly apply and respect safety and environment policies. Full implementation of instructions and procedures, and upholding The Froneri Way of working through behaviors and core values, including maintaining 5S in the workplace, are expected.

Requirements

  • Forklift driving license
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in forklift and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of warehousing system and Quality principles.
  • Strong knowledge of safety & Environment.
  • Methods of physically receiving and visually inspecting of the materials.
  • Must be able to win trust and respect of others.
  • Must be able to identify a problem on his relevant area.
  • Must be able to give a point of view.
  • Eye for detail- Able to balance priorities.
  • Able to see the bigger picture beyond the scope of their job.
  • 18 years of age or older
  • Aptitude for automated mechanical processes with good troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, math and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work multiple shifts and/or schedules.
  • High School diploma or GED or equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

  • One-year related experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Place products in a right manner during truck loading & unloading operations according to the existing warehouse management system.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness & organization for best GWP (Good Warehouse Practice).
  • Keep the material handling equipment’s in a good condition as safety & quality measures.
  • Manage Internal Stock Movements by PIT.
  • Display and move the order for any movement inside the warehouse, including put away, retrieval and picking, replenishment of picking bins and staging for production, walking materials to the line, received product and Returns to Warehouse.
  • Confirm movements using Scanners or RF-terminal in near real time.
  • Ensure complying to the inventory count instructions.
  • Adheres strictly to (FEFO) first Expiry – first out policy.
  • Ensure that the “material tags” are represented on the pallets per receiving for each consignment.
  • Report any damaged products on time or any potential issues within the Warehouse operation.
  • Ensures Appling and respects Safety and Environment Policy in your workplace.
  • Ensures fully implementation of the instructions and procedures in your workplace.

  • Always keep 5S in workplace.
