Continental Dairy Facilities is Select Milk Producer’s first state-of-the-art powder milk and butter facility that produces over 300,000 pounds of dry non-fat milk per day in Coopersville, Michigan. Requirements

  • A High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
  • High School level verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the labeling, staging, and picking of production.
  • Responsible for load out’s and receiving of all products and supplies for the dry operation.
  • Maintain proper rotation of the products, inventory of supplies, and of assigned items.
  • See that all powder orders are properly shipped, and all necessary paperwork is properly filled out.
  • Assure that the warehouse stays clean and orderly at all times and those yellow borders stay clean.
  • All supplies and inventory items remain 18” from the walls.
  • The warehouse must remain USDA inspection ready at all times.
  • Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.
  • Keep management personnel up to date on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.
  • Confirm product quality is acceptable prior to shipping.
  • Assure that all products meet customer requirements.
  • Inspects all trucks prior to loading; they must be clean, free of any foreign debris.
  • Do not load any damaged product.
  • Aid in the training of new personnel.
  • Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
