About The Position

The Warehouse Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of goods within the warehouse environment during the 1st and 2nd shifts. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing materials and products in a timely manner to support overall supply chain operations. The Warehouse Operator will maintain inventory accuracy, adhere to safety protocols, and contribute to a clean and organized workspace. By effectively managing stock and coordinating with team members, this role helps to minimize delays and optimize warehouse productivity. Ultimately, the Warehouse Operator ensures that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on schedule, supporting the company’s commitment to service excellence.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Basic math and reading skills to accurately process orders and inventory.
  • The Warehouse Operator uses physical stamina and coordination daily to handle materials safely and efficiently.
  • Attention to detail is essential for accurately receiving, storing, and picking inventory to prevent errors and maintain stock integrity.
  • Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and technology enables the operator to perform tasks such as forklift operation and inventory tracking with precision.
  • Problem-solving skills help address any discrepancies or operational challenges that arise during shifts, contributing to continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Store products in designated locations and maintain organized inventory systems.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
  • Document all warehouse activities accurately using company software systems.
