About The Position

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by safely receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role plays a key part in ensuring products are handled safely, customer orders are processed accurately, and warehouse operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, quality, teamwork, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Minimum of one year of warehouse or logistics experience.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and logistics software.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve routine operational issues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment using powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate forklifts, TSP, SP, pallet jacks, and other authorized warehouse equipment.
  • Follow all company safety policies and warehouse operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
  • Collaborate with warehouse team members, clerks, and supervisors to support daily operational goals.
  • Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and finished goods.
  • Pick, pack, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks while verifying product accuracy and shipment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by performing cycle counts and reporting discrepancies.
  • Inspect products for damage or defects and report quality concerns promptly.
  • Utilize the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and other logistics software to complete warehouse transactions.
  • Verify product labeling and support efficient material flow between the warehouse and production departments.
  • Assist with inventory movement and warehouse organization to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
