About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining the storage and organization of the products within the cooler and freezer to ensure that the product that is being shipped to customers is of the highest quality. This role involves performing laborer duties such as picking, staging, and loading products to fulfill customer orders, ensuring accuracy in quantity and code dates. The associate will also be responsible for storing and removing product from the cooler or freezer using a powered pallet jack while adhering to safety requirements, and operating an RF Scan Gun.

Requirements

• Ability to adhere to all safety guidelines when operating within the shipping area.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack with great efficiency.
• Ability to work in a cold environment including minimal time in the freezer.
• Ability to work well within a team environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
• Ability to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or at least 3 months of experience and/or training; or the combination equivalent of both education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete checklists.

Nice To Haves

• Hi/Lo (reach) Forklift experience is preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience as a shipping laborer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform laborer duties (picking, staging, and loading products) to complete customer orders.
• Ensure proper items are picked accurately by quantity and code date required by customer orders.
• Remove and/or store product in the cooler or freezer at its designated location by operating a powered pallet jack while adhering to the company’s safety requirements.
• Operate RF Scan Gun.
• Perform other duties as assigned at the request of the Shipping Supervisor.
