The Warehouse Operator is responsible for receiving, unloading, preparing, and loading liquid and dry chemical products from/to trucks, tankers, and railcars. This role involves physical tasks requiring attention to detail, such as maneuvering and connecting/disconnecting hoses, climbing tanks, and inspecting equipment. The operator will verify product against shipping documents, sample products for quality control, maintain logs, and operate a computer program for receiving/shipping records. Additionally, the role includes picking and staging products for delivery, operating forklifts (with certification) to move products within the warehouse, and moving raw materials to production and finished products to storage. Repackaging product, filling cylinders, drums, totes, pails, or tankers, and ensuring proper labeling and storage according to company and regulatory requirements are also key duties. Special attention is given to food-grade and USP items, hazardous waste storage, and inventory examination. General maintenance of the warehouse, including ensuring cleanliness, safety, and immediate cleanup of spills, is expected. Other duties may be assigned, including mixing and blending as required.
