About The Position

Sikla USA Inc. is a subsidiary of the German- Austrian Sikla Group, a manufacturer of modular steelwork and pipe support systems for industrial steelwork solutions. From our Suwanee (GA) office our team services the North American markets (USA and Canada), what includes engineering/ technical and logistical service to our partners, distributors and MEP customers, all associated with the Sikla range of products. This role is open to U.S.-based candidates with a background in warehouse operations and prefabrication (preferred). The Warehouse Operator - Multi-Skill is a highly capable warehouse and prefabrication specialist responsible for performing a wide range of operational, logistics, and machine‑related tasks at Sikla USA. A key focus of this role is the safe and efficient operation of multiple forklift types (including Stand-Up , Sit-Down , Cherry Picker , and Multi-Directional/CombiLift ). This position supports all warehouse processes, material handling, order picking, machine operation, and prefabrication activities, ensuring quality, safety, and operational efficiency across all workflows. The ideal candidate has substantial experience in warehouse environments, forklift operation, and equipment such as band saws, cutting machinery, or other fabrication tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience operating multiple forklift types (Stand-Up, Sit-Down, Cherry Picker, Multi-Directional/CombiLift)
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse or distribution experience
  • Minimum 3–5 years of prefabrication, machine operation, or metal cutting (e.g., Saw Operator, Machine Operator, Fabrication Technician)
  • Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs independently.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Must demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the organization and team members.
  • Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Forklift Operation (Primary Priority)
  • Operates multiple forklift types safely and efficiently, including: Multi-Directional units (e.g., CombiLift) Stand-up reach trucks Sit-Down counterbalance forklifts Cherry Picker / Order Picker (Walkie) Reach Stacker Safe operation in narrow aisles, high racks, and tight warehouse environments Precise handling of long goods, pallets, and steel components Daily forklift inspections and reporting of equipment issues Maintaining a high safety standard and minimizing operational risks
  • Warehouse, Logistics & Material Handling Offloading, unpacking, counting, and checking inbound goods Loading, packing, and staging outbound shipments Accurate order picking and material handling for daily warehouse operations Quality checks on Goods In / Goods Out Ensuring correct inventory placement and location accuracy Using ERP and Microsoft Office for basic warehouse processes Supporting tight schedules, deadlines, and customer requirements Organizing packaging, labeling, tagging, and bagging Daily cleaning, 5S standards, and maintaining a structured environment Covering for colleagues during absences Following instructions from Warehouse Management
  • Prefabrication, Saw Operation ( Secondary Priority – but essential skill set) Performing prefabrication tasks including assembly, cutting, measuring, shaping, and preparing steel and metal components Operating fabrication equipment such as band saws and other cutting machinery Reading and interpreting measurements, schematics, and blueprints Using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Maintaining production schedules to ensure timely delivery Performing basic equipment maintenance and safety checks Documenting work progress and reporting deviations or issues Ensuring high quality and adherence to safety standards
