About The Position

The Warehouse Operator position performs routine, non-routine and complex assignments and operates highly sophisticated equipment under general supervision. Supporting the manufacturing of pain through movement, consolidation, and organization of raw materials, finished goods, and waste throughout the production floor and warehouse.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent and at least 18 years of age.
  • Forklift certified
  • Good Computer Skills
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills
  • Good math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be safety conscious
  • Ability to follow directions
  • Propensity to use good judgment in making independent decisions
  • Self-motivated with high standards for performance
  • Ability to work with various types of personalities
  • Must have a positive attitude and be adaptable to the changing needs of the Company

Responsibilities

  • Pull finished goods from storage areas
  • Put away raw materials in storage areas
  • Safely drive and operate a forklift
  • Load and unload trucks as needed
  • Understand and follow pick lists and BOL’s
  • Operates pumps for off-loading tankers
  • Perform set-up and clean up for tasks
  • Actively participates in safety programs, 5S, and perform daily checklists
  • Follows operating procedures for proper inventory, handling, and staging of material. Activities such as verification of incoming & outgoing shipments, identification & disposition of returned material, damaged material, or obsolete material
  • Maintain safe and clean work area through use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and disciplined daily work ethic
  • Consolidation and organization of the warehouses and outside storage areas
  • Participates and contributes to Health & Safety, Security, and Environmental activities (SAFE meetings, BBS observer, HS&E training, housekeeping, & 5S)
  • Follows shipping regulatory requirements such as DOT, DHS, TSCA, and CT-PAT
  • Maintain storage of raw materials, intermediates and finished goods while obtaining materials needed for batch makers, adjusters, tinters and fill off as needed by production while following all safety guidelines and procedures
