About The Position

The Warehouse Operator Level 3 is responsible for the scheduling, receipt, and storage of inbound shipments of material into the facility. Upon receipt, the operator is responsible for the accurate entry of materials into the SAP inventory system, and all labelling and storage of said materials. Extensive daily communication with Incoming Quality Control is required to arrange for the efficient inspection and testing of inbound material. In addition to inbound vendor shipments, the operator also manages the transfer of materials to and from the off-site storage facility. This requires daily monitoring of stock levels for various materials and consulting production and packaging schedules to ensure that required quantities of components are available within a given timeframe. The operator must utilize several forms of powered industrial equipment in the course of their daily duties. They are also responsible for the mastery of various transactions in SAP (both P83 and P55) utilizing both RF devices and desktop computers. As business dictates, the Warehouse Operator III will be required to perform the job functions of Operator I and Operator II. This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor, and maintains contact with Warehouse Group Leader, other warehouse Operators, and personnel from various other departments during the regular course of duties.

Responsibilities

  • Schedules shipping and delivery appointments
  • Responsible for the accurate receipt of inbound material
  • Checks in drivers for scheduled delivery appointments, confirming all appropriate documents are in order
  • Inspects all incoming trucks for condition, temperature, and overall cleanliness
  • Compares data from various shipping documents to the physical shipment to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Unloads material from trailer or container using powered equipment
  • Verifies and files all shipping documentation and associated records at the time of delivery and receipt
  • Inspects incoming material for shortage, damage, and tampering
  • Coordinates extensively with Incoming Quality Control to facilitate the testing and release of incoming materials
  • Manages daily inbound/outbound shipments of material to/from offsite storage
  • Manages daily shipments of finished product to Distribution Centers
  • Responsible for the proper handling and reconciliation of controlled substances associated with the preparation and delivery/staging of raw materials used in production as well as processing returns from production such as WIP and finished products. This includes compliance with documentation and accountability procedures.
  • Utilize various forms of powered and non-powered industrial equipment
  • Performs various transactions in P83 and P55 modules of SAP system
  • Performs duties of Operator I and II as required
