About The Position

This role is responsible for receiving and processing raw materials from various sources at the warehouse. The operator will drive trucks with a capacity of over 3 tons to transport materials safely to and from specified destinations. This position also involves performing Material Handler duties within the warehouse area and ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulations. Requirements

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Heavy driver license
  • Computer knowledge
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, employees, and internal or external audits.
  • Ability to communicate, read, write and understand English/Spanish languages.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Observes and promotes company security, industrial hygiene, cGMP's, procedures and other security measures already established by the company; should inform any violation.
  • Able to follow all GMP requirements while conducting the assigned duties and completing official documents.
  • Regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; eye-hand coordination; and reach with hands and arms.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, and talk or hear.
  • Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 to 50 pounds (with the appropriate safety equipment that the Company provides).
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry of materials received in the company system.
  • Carries, lifts, and handles materials and merchandise in the warehouse area using appropriate safety equipment.
  • Verifies quantities of materials delivered and for delivery in compliance with shipping documents.
  • Keeps records and files all information of materials received or delivered.
  • Performs material inventories in the warehouses.
  • Inspects material handling equipment such as lifters and finger lifts to meet company requirements.
  • Drives truck to destination.
  • Loads and unloads truck.
  • Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.
  • Drives in a safe and proper manner, ensuring compliance with all state road regulations and laws.
  • Delivers and picks up materials or merchandise from or to the daily or stockroom.
  • Keeps the work area in the cleanest and most orderly condition.
  • Provides support in assigned activities such as extended shifts, weekends, shutdown/slowdown, as necessary.
  • Fills out the documentation required by the procedures.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Teamwork oriented.
  • Other related duties with the position may be assigned.
