About The Position

Ensure efficient and accurate order deliveries while operating warehouse equipment to move and/or locate product appropriately. This role involves receiving raw materials and supplies, processing material requisitions, and accurately slotting materials in storage locations. The operator will also stage raw materials in production locations and the production room, ensuring all information, transactions, and adjustments are correctly entered into ERP systems. Additionally, the position requires moving finished goods from the production floor to their designated slot locations pending quality testing and release for shipping, and performing cycle counts to verify the accuracy of raw materials and finished goods. A key responsibility includes performing general maintenance on material handling equipment, such as battery charging, exchange, and maintenance, as well as general warehouse cleanup. The role requires operating various equipment including hand trucks, carts, dollies, forklifts, order pickers, and walkies to transport stored items within the facility.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Forklift certified
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

Receive raw material and supplies.
Process material requisitions.
Slot material in storage locations.
Stage raw material in production locations and in the production room.
Ensure information, transactions, and adjustments are accurately entered into the ERP systems.
Move finished goods from production floor to slot location until QA completes quality testing and releases products for shipping.
Perform cycle count to confirm accuracy of the raw materials and finished goods.
Perform general maintenance related to material handling equipment such as battery charging, battery exchange, battery maintenance (water, checklist, etc.) and general warehouse cleanup.
Operate hand truck, cart, dollies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from line to appropriate location within the facility.
