Warehouse Operator ll - 1st Shift
About The Position
Ensure efficient and accurate order deliveries while operating warehouse equipment to move and/or locate product appropriately. This role involves receiving raw materials and supplies, processing material requisitions, and accurately slotting materials in storage locations. The operator will stage raw materials in production locations and ensure all information, transactions, and adjustments are accurately entered into the ERP systems. Additionally, the role includes moving finished goods from the production floor to slot locations pending quality testing and release for shipping, performing cycle counts, and conducting general maintenance on material handling equipment.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Responsibilities
- Receive raw material and supplies.
- Process material requisitions.
- Slot material in storage locations.
- Stage raw material in production locations and in the production room.
- Ensure information, transactions, and adjustments are accurately entered into the ERP systems.
- Move finished goods from production floor to slot location until QA completes quality testing and releases products for shipping.
- Perform cycle count to confirm accuracy of the raw materials and finished goods.
- Perform general maintenance related to material handling equipment such as battery charging, battery exchange, battery maintenance (water, checklist, etc.) and general warehouse cleanup.
- Operate hand truck, cart, dollies, forklift, order-picker, and walkie to transport stored items from line to appropriate location within the facility.
