About The Position
This role is responsible for picking orders to fulfill production work orders, sample orders, and intercompany raw material transfers. The position also involves receiving raw materials in a timely manner to meet customer demand and shipping finished products for distribution.
Requirements
- Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
- Basic math (addition and subtraction).
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.
- Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, and lift for extended periods daily.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Must be able to work daily overtime (2-3 hours) on a regular basis up to 6 days a week.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified on wave and order picker.
Responsibilities
- Open cartons with a safety knife.
- Grasp and pull parts.
- Knot poly bags.
- Break down corrugate.
- Operate light machinery (e.g., pallet jacks, order picking machines) to efficiently pick orders and move materials within the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
- Read orders and fulfill them using an RF tracker for transactions while maintaining performance to standard based on the Performance Management System (ProTrack).
- Use SAP system to view inventory.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
