Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • At least six months of warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, or material handling experience.
  • Forklift experience required; current forklift certification preferred.
  • Hazardous Materials certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
  • Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail with experience reading manifests, bills of lading, and shipping documents.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Basic math skills and inventory accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and commitment to workplace safety.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • current forklift certification preferred
  • Hazardous Materials certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
  • Load, unload, stack, stage, and organize freight for shipment and storage.
  • Verify shipment quantities using manifests, bills of lading, and customer orders.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
  • Label, sort, and stage freight accurately for delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through routine counts and audits.
  • Complete shipping documentation, manifests, and inventory records accurately.
  • Research missing freight and report discrepancies with detailed documentation and photographs when necessary.
  • Conduct daily yard checks and maintain trailer inventory.
  • Perform daily forklift pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse.
  • Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and Hazardous Material procedures.
  • Assist with pre-loading delivery vehicles to support efficient dispatch operations.
