About The Position

Pro Transport USA is hiring a dependable Warehouse Operator for its Savannah, Georgia team. The role handles freight with forklifts and other material-handling equipment, loads and unloads trucks and containers, and helps keep warehouse operations safe and on schedule. The position is full-time, pays $18–$22 per hour based on experience, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and stand or walk for a full shift.
• Basic math and reading skills for paperwork and counts.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Willingness to work overtime when volume requires it.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Current forklift certification; the employer will train and certify the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts, reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, stage, and store freight.
• Load and unload trailers and containers, including floor-loaded and palletized freight.
• Check incoming and outgoing shipments against bills of lading and other paperwork.
• Record and report damages, shortages, and overages.
• Build, wrap, and label pallets for outbound shipments.
• Keep the warehouse and dock clean, organized, and safe.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment.
• Follow safety rules and OSHA standards.
