Warehouse Operator 1 - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Experienced Warehouse Operators are responsible for moving pallets, picking orders, and operating heavy machinery/ PIT equipment with precision including but not limited to Cherry picker, Electric Pallet Jack, Sit down forklift and Turret Truck. This role is in a busy environment and requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs independently and up to 80lbs with assistance. The position involves extended periods of standing/walking and the use of a hand scanner to enter data into a Warehouse Management system. Requirements
- Must have at least 2 years of solid cherry picker and turret truck experience
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs independently and up 80lbs with assistance
- Extended periods of standing/walking
- Ability to resolve pallet math and strong attention to detail
- Must be able to operate a hand scanner to enter data into a Warehouse Management system
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a warehouse environment.
- some college or technical training is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Operate PIT equipment (Cherry picker & Turret truck) to pick orders and put away items in assigned warehouse locations
- Effectively use the RF scanner to accurately pick and put away merchandise
- Ensure cleanliness and safety of work environment
