About The Position

A Warehouse Operative is a resilient and team-minded individual responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient flow of materials throughout the manufacturing process and preparing finished products for shipment. Key duties and responsibilities include: Collecting and transporting materials safely within the factory. Receiving and documenting materials into inventory. Issuing materials to various departments on the factory floor. Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packaging boxes, and placing orders in staging areas. Final preparation of finished products for shipment. Adhering to all safety rules, best practices, and company standards. Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Forklift experience.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and management.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management tasks.
• Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure safe material handling.
• Manual dexterity and stability required for precision work.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
• Capacity to traverse facilities and machinery by climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and carrying materials.

Nice To Haves

• Prior relevant experience in a warehouse/factory environment.
• Forklift certification.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures.
• Overhead crane experience.
• Familiarity with materials used in the steel building industry.
