About The Position

This role involves a variety of tasks within a warehouse setting, focusing on the organization, preparation, and shipment of materials. Responsibilities include staging shipments, packaging, order preparation, weighing and measuring, operating forklifts and other lifting equipment, managing inventory transactions, attaching necessary documentation, operating metal cutting machinery such as bandsaws, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

• Experience operating a forklift
• Experience with lifting equipment
• Experience operating metal cutting machinery
• Experience running bandsaws
• Ability to maintain transactions and locations in an operating system
• Ability to attach packing slips and certifications

Responsibilities

• Organize shipping floor and stage daily shipments
• Package material
• Prepare orders to be shipped
• Weigh and measure material
• Use forklift to move material
• Return unprocessed material to inventory
• Maintain transactions and locations in operating system
• Attach packing slip/certs
• Set up and operate metal cutting machinery
• Run bandsaws
• Use lifting equipment
• Perform housekeeping duties, including sweeping and tidying the shipping area
