About The Position

Ryder is immediately hiring a Warehouse Operations Tech in Lancaster, Texas. This position offers weekly pay with an hourly rate of $20.00 per hour plus a $3.00 shift differential. We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to join us and work in the Safest Supply Chain Environment with State of the Art Equipment. The products handled are beverages, and the equipment used includes computers and Microsoft products. Ryder provides on-the-job paid training, safety gear, and emphasizes safety as the first priority with state-of-the-art equipment and caring leadership. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years warehouse experience
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)
Working knowledge of WMS systems
Forklift experience
Equipment certification may be required, depending on location
Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification; motor vehicle records check and a road test; and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.

Responsibilities

Assist in supporting standard facility Key Performance Indicators (KPI) which consistently meet/exceed established goals in safety, quality, sanitation and maintenance
Create and maintain daily dock schedules
Communicate with carriers regarding setting appointments and updating load statuses
Work closely with Operations Supervisor to ensure the work load is being distributed properly and evenly by managing WMS down to the floor
Work closely with the inventory department and on-site personnel to resolve and problems with the day's orders
Interact with the customer to communicate order changes and updates
Maintain various Excel spreadsheets and reports
Perform other duties as required or assigned
