Full Time Hourly Warehouse Operations Seasonal Openings for Evening/Overnight Shifts (T3857)
About The Position
This is a full-time, hourly, seasonal role in Warehouse Operations. The company is hiring for Warehouse Associate and Warehouse Worker positions. Starting pay for Warehouse Associate is $21.85 per hour, with a range of $21.85 to $25.10 per hour. Starting pay for Warehouse Worker is $23.90 per hour, with a range of $23.90 to $26.90 per hour. An additional shift differential of $2.00 to $3.50 per hour may be earned based on eligibility. The primary hiring need is for evening/overnight shifts, specifically 10-hour shifts on various combinations of Sunday through Saturday. Applicants are encouraged to apply with as much open availability as possible. There is an opportunity for pay progression based on tenure. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs. The specific role (Warehouse Worker or Warehouse Associate) will be determined based on the application questionnaire and assessment.
Requirements
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift.
- Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 60 lbs. occasionally throughout a shift.
- Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- Able to accurately use basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).
- Able to accurately read labels, tickets, and other product documentation.
- Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions.
Responsibilities
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Attend safety trainings to learn how to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Pack, load, and ship items to stores and guests.
- Ensure accurate processing of merchandise to our stores and guests.
- Work safely, quickly and efficiently to handle freight and move inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
- Report to work on time and complete job tasks as assigned accurately and on time.
- Engage in problem solving to support continuous improvement.
- Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment.
- Able to be trained on and operate all powered equipment safely (including but not limited to Pallet Rider, Scissor Lift, Sit Down & Standup Forklift), and work at heights of up to 40ft where applicable.
- Work at a height of up to 40 ft on a mezzanine (where applicable).
- Able to work in various temperature-controlled environments including refrigerator and freezer for majority of shift (for Food Distribution Center only).
