Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Coordinator

Shepherd Electric SupplyBaltimore, MD
$55,000 - $75,000Hybrid

About The Position

Since 1892, Shepherd Electric Supply has been the first call when complex, time-critical electrical challenges need to be solved, and reliability truly matters. We move materials accurately and on time, so contractors stay on schedule, projects stay on track, and customers never have to wonder if we will come through. Our success comes from people who take pride in doing things the right way — safely, accurately, and with care for teammates and customers alike. If you want to do work that matters at a company that notices, this is the place. Consistent operations across every branch depend on more than good intentions — they depend on someone who watches the data, catches the exceptions, and closes the loop before small issues become expensive ones. The Warehouse Operations & Inventory Control Coordinator is that person. This role reviews the reports and queues that reveal how each branch is really running — inventory accuracy, packing accountability, cycle counts, aging invoices, and returns — and turns what the numbers show into clear, assigned follow-up. When errors are tracked to their source, playbooks stay current, and new hires are trained the right way, the whole operation runs tighter and more predictably. When this role is done well, branch teams get consistent support, leaders get accurate visibility, and inventory integrity holds across all locations.
