About The Position

CandleScience is seeking motivated, dependable Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Associates for its Reno, NV distribution center. This is a hands-on warehouse position for individuals who enjoy staying active, working with a team, learning new skills, and being part of a fast-paced operation where everyone contributes to getting the job done. As a Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Associate, you will support the daily operations of our distribution center. Depending on business needs, you may work across several areas of the warehouse, including order fulfillment (picking/packing and shipping), replenishment, put-away, inventory and cycle counts, freight and LTL shipments, and other warehouse and operational functions as needed. These are seasonal positions expected to run through the end of 2026, with the opportunity for strong performers to be considered for full-time, permanent positions based on business needs, performance, attendance, and overall fit with the team. Requirements

Ability to understand and perform pick/pack/ship operations
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
Ability to walk and remain active for extended periods of time
Basic computer skills and comfort learning warehouse technology
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Valid driver's license
Ability to pass required background check
Willingness to work early or late shifts based on business needs
Willingness and ability to work weekend shifts, if needed.

Nice To Haves

Forklift experience or certification
Experience operating pallet jacks or other material-handling equipment
Experience using RF scanners / handheld warehouse scanners
WMS experience
LTL/freight shipping experience
Inventory control and cycle counting
Quality control
Experience working in a high-volume fulfillment or distribution environment

Responsibilities

Accurately pick customer orders using warehouse systems and equipment
Pack orders safely and efficiently according to established standards
Prepare orders for UPS, USPS, freight, and other carriers
Replenish inventory and maintain organized warehouse locations
Perform inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
Operate warehouse equipment safely after completing required training
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow standard operating procedures and safety requirements
Work efficiently while maintaining quality and accuracy
Communicate with leads, supervisors, and teammates regarding priorities and issues
Assist other departments and warehouse functions when business needs require it
Contribute to continuous improvement and help the team find better ways to work
