About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Associate supports the smooth operation of the distribution center by handling and processing customer products with care and following safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures. The role covers warehouse activities including receiving, inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping. Associates also help maintain clean and organized workspaces, follow procedures for handling and packaging chemicals, check equipment and tools, support safety and environmental sustainability practices, and collaborate with teammates to meet operational targets. Duties may extend beyond the listed responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain certification upon employment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols, especially when handling hazardous materials.
• Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and overtime when needed.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 55 lbs.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights when necessary.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), such as gloves, goggles, and respirators.
• Ability to adapt to varying temperatures and challenging warehouse environmental conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle products and materials in compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Assist with receiving, storing, and managing inventory.
• Prepare customer orders for shipment accurately and according to quality standards.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly label and store products.
• Follow standard operating procedures for handling and packaging chemicals to prevent contamination or product compromise.
• Regularly check warehouse equipment and tools and report issues to management.
• Support safety protocols, environmental sustainability practices, and company core values.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet operational targets.
