Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 2-4 years of warehouse experience
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Ability to effectively communicate with multiple departments
  • Demonstrable experience in Good Documentation Practices
  • Strong analytical skills required
  • Must be highly detail-orientated
  • Must be able to thrive in an environment of frequent changes
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership and be able to drive issues to closure
  • Must be a self-starter who is hands-on with projects and assignments
  • Experience with shipping domestically and internationally
  • Experience utilizing FedEx Ship Manager and/or UPS Worldship
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, QAD or other ERP systems

Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading trucks via material handling equipment.
  • Receiving inbound material including but not limited to the breakdown of pallets, labeling of materials, and processing inbound Purchase Orders utilizing Ocular Therapeutix’s ERP system.
  • Accurately storing materials in their designated Storage Location physically and systematically within Ocular Therapeutix’s ERP system.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control on the release of incoming materials requiring inspection.
  • Fulfillment of material requests to Manufacturing, Engineering, Development, and other relevant departments.
  • Accurately transact material movements within Ocular Therapeutix’s ERP system.
  • Initiate and/or collaborate on Non-Conforming Material Reports, and Deviations relating to Warehousing & Logistics activities.
  • Prepare and process material for outbound shipping including but not limited to the packaging and labeling of material, scheduling/coordination of truck pickups, processing small parcel shipments, and ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately.
  • Perform cycle counts, restock consumables, and maintain an accurate inventory of cGMP and non-cGMP material.
  • Assist in identifying and resolving inventory.
  • Maintain compliance with cGMP regulations, EHS safety standards, and company policies and procedures at all times.
