Requirements

  • 1-2 years Warehouse experience preferred.
  • Energetic and professional with excellent verbal skills.
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Must be able to work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Must have an open availability, flexible and able to work various shifts and over time.
  • High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Computer literate in Office Suite programs, CRM software and navigating the internet.
  • Prior furniture rental experience
  • Prior customer service experience

Responsibilities

  • Handle phone dispatch to coordinate and monitor all transportation and routing operations.
  • Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status, answering questions.
  • Verifies items shipped by matching bills of lading, reconciling quantities, and noting discrepancies.
  • Inventories and verifies damaged stock upon arrival in warehouse
  • Manages and facilitates the process or repairing and replacing damaged items in a 48-hour time frame
  • Update inventory software system for damages, repairs, and new items
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management.
  • Other projects and/or duties as assigned which may include minor warehouse assistance.
